Introduction

The inaugural meeting of the London Revit User Group (LRUG) took place on the 17th March 2010, with 26 Revit Users from various companies based in London.

The group has no secret agendas and is trying to get back to grass routes, a group for users to share knowledge and learn from on another across all disciplines of Revit.

LRUG meetings are Bi-Monthly 6 per year in
January, March, May, July, September and November  
 
Third Wednesday of the Month and they are FREE
 
Attendance is by Eventbrite invitation only
 
One ticket per person 
 
First come first served basis to the venue capacity (60 - 70 places)
 
January 2016 there are 310 registered members on the invite list 

 
Aims and Objectives:-
  • To promote peer to peer support and networking for current and potential Revit users
  • To have LRUG meetings at regular intervals at a frequency determined by membership.
  • To have presentations based on subjects chosen by the members.
  • To be a voice for UK London Revit Users.
  • To build a dedicated UK wish-list and become more than a lone UK voice in the wind.
  • To share UK families and content.
  • To share "Best Practice"
  • To encourage UK manufacturers to produce Revit families and content.  
  • To providing educational opportunities, and the sharing information with members.
  • To provide support for new London based Revit users.
  • To provide tips and tricks at basic and geek levels!
  • To report known bugs to members. 
 
LRUG is a non profit making organisation. Michael Bartyzel of Buro Happold kindly provides the venue for the meetings, and the Beer and Pizza on most occasions, but is always willing to let another member company pick the bill up and get a Thank You at the meeting and on the web site.
